Description: It took me a very long time to find the perfect Appaloosa male for my herd, after a long search I found a herdsire called Hobby Horse of a Different Color that I fell in love with. He is a 9x champ and a winner of 25 blue ribbons.
From the few cria he has on the ground (30 appx) 60% of those cria are appaloosas.
Since I couldn't have him, I decided to look for one of his male offspring. I found a few but NO ONE would sell!
I finally contacted the owner of patch and after a couple months of negotiations she finally agreed to sell him to me!
I bought him only seeing a picture, but the day I met him in person for the first time I couldn't believe how beautiful he was!
Patch will be 2 in the summer of 2015 and I can't wait to start breeding him to my girls. If he is as awesome as passing on the appy gene as his dad is I will be welcoming lots of appy crias in 2016!
